# Subscription Boxes that Will Make Your Life Healthier

Last summer I fell into a trend that has been sweeping across the United States: subscription boxes. I’ve always been a fan of getting snail mail (it is so much more personal than just getting an e-mail) but now I am guaranteed (1) to get something in the mail, other than bills, and (2) the ability to try new things without leaving the comfort of my home.

What puzzled me about the programs though, was the concept of “not actually leaving your home.” We already get pizza delivered to our homes. What does this mean for us when we can get junk food delivered straight into our living rooms?

“Yes, please just go ahead and pour those M&M’s straight in my mouth also, please.”

Luckily, not all subscription boxes are filled with junk food. In fact, it is quite the opposite. There are plenty of healthy subscription boxes that can help you live a more active and healthy lifestyle. Listed below are some of my favorites.

1. Pairings Box (http://www.turntablekitchen.com/pairings-box/)

The “Pairings Box” subscription is both unique and tasty. Each box contains a vinyl, a digital mixed tape, and original recipes that are healthy too. There is usually a unique spice blend packet in there. All you have to get are the fresh veggies and meat from your local grocer. With this box, you can wow your man (and your friends) with a great dinner.

I love this box especially because they promote togetherness in a few different ways. You can surprise your man with a delicious dinner and spend some quality time at the table, you can plan a dinner party around each box, or you can cook the meal with your man. Hooray for quality time!

2. Steepster (http://steepster.com/select)

If you’re a tea drinker, boy do I have the subscription box for you! The Steepster Company searches the world for unique tea blends, then they send you 5 types of teas in each box. Specifically in each box are detailed review and product info, reusable muslin bags for your teas, five teas, tasting notes, brewing instructions and more. They will sometimes send you brewing filters, other times they will send you discounts and other great gifts.

3. Klutchclub (http://www.klutchclub.com/)

KLUTCHClub is pretty cool because they have different types of boxes for different people (specifically a women’s box, men’s box, and a mom’s box). Each box has different health products like Yoga DVD’s and downloads, insoles, phosphate-free cleaners and detergents, teas, etc. It’s quite eclectic and all of it is good for you.

4. Conscious Box (http://www.consciousbox.com/)

If you’re wanting to make healthier decisions and be good to the earth as well, check out Conscious Box. They offer healthy, GMO-free goods that you can try (they send you some sample sizes and some full sizes to try) and if you enjoy specific products, you can buy those items straight from their website. They have two different sizes, which start at only $6.95 per month!
